This web page describes the Using Data project, which is funded by the National Science Foundation. The project is designed to provide professional development experiences and sustained learning opportunities to help educators develop the skills, knowledge, and abilities to effectively use science and mathematics performance data to improve programs, policies, and learning in all classrooms. The project also aims to help teachers learn how to collaborate with coworkers, and identify the root causes of student learning problems and gaps in student achievement. The web page includes a description of the project’s workshops and online coursework as well as publications that are part of the project’s professional development program.
